If you like to have a cocktail every once in a while, leave your money at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your purse, your billfold, and leave all money, credit cards and cheques back at the hotel. Take whatever money you expect to spend on alcohol, tips and whatever pocket change you anticipate to lose and leave the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You may well experience a profit after a inebriated night out with your friends and be lucky sufficiently to catch a 25 minute roll at a smokin craps table. Don’t forget that adventure because it is as short-lived as it gets if you regularly drink alcohol and bet. These activities just do not mix.
Leaving your money back at the hotel might be a little bit excessive, but precautionary measures for dramatic actions is essential. If you bet to profit, then do not drink alcohol and bet. If you like to burn your assets nary a worry, then consume all the no charge alcohol you can handle, but don’t take credit cards and cheques to toss into the mix of going after losses after your hooched up self loses all the cash!
Permit me to take this 1 step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then head on to the internet to wager in your preferred casino either. I love to cocktail from the coziness of my domicile, however since I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards at my fingertips, I can not drink alcohol and bet.
What’s the reason? Even though I don’t drink to excess, once I consume alcohol, it’s certainly adequate to cloud my common sense. I bet, so I do not drink alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, do not bet at the same time. Both make for a decimating, and expensive, cocktail.
