As an aggressive player, I have learned a few important lessons while playing over the decades. It does not matter if you like to gambling at the ‘bricks and mortar’ type or the numerous web casinos. The following are my golden rules of gambling, most of which might be seen as common sense, but if accepted they will help you go a long distance to leaving with a grin on your face.

Rule 1: Go to a casino with a determined sum that you are willing and can manage to spend – How much would it cost for an evening out on diner, cocktails, cover fees and tips? This is an excellent sum to use.

Rule two: Do not take your debit card out with you – or any way of drawing money out. Do not worry about cash for the cab if you lose all of it; most cab operators, particularly the ones hailed at casinos, will drive you to your abode and shall be more than happy to wait for the cash when you get back.

Rule 3: Stay to an upper limit. I always see what I would love to buy should I win. The previous time I was able to go, I decided I would would like to purchase a new digital camera which cost about $400, so that was my upper cap. As soon as I achieved this sum, I walked away. Just walk away. Even if Clairvoyant Carla herself tells you the next number for the roulette wheel, ignore her and back off. Head out safe in the understanding that you will be proceeding into town and getting a great new toy!

Rule 4: Enjoy yourself. When you’re "enthusiastic" you will certainly profit. It’s a certainty. I do not understand the reason why, but it clearly is. Right after it becomes a job, or you are only wagering to gain cash you have lost, you usually will be deprived of even more. When you’re profiting, feeling a good time with your buddies, or your significant other, you will win more and more.
